The 10th Annual Cow Pie Trail Run route is a loop course traveling over gravel/dirt roads, cow paths, and the pastures of beautiful central Nebraska. The half marathon route goes through an old tree claim, beside a settler's cemetery, along an old wagon road, by windmills, and abandoned homesteads. This is the wide-open prairie of the pioneers! It is a tough course with holes, ruts, stickers, cow pies, and lots and lots of hills. But if the cows can do it, so can you!

Finishers receive a Cow Pie Finisher Cowboy Hat and participants who register at least two weeks in advance receive a fun, long sleeve cotton Cow Pie tee!

Registration opens 1/2 hour prior to each event.

Yummy pork roast BBQ sandwiches, baked beans, chips, and homemade desserts will be served after the race followed by hayrack rides. A perfect way to celebrate Autumn!

(While we run on dirt, you don't have to drive on dirt to get here!)
